How common is a false negative reading on a pregnancy test?

i took a pregnacy test like 2 weeks 2 early an the pregnancy test said negative but could i still be pregnant how common is a miss reading an if any of you have been threw this where u took a prenancy test an it was a negative and turned out you really was pregnant let me know me an my husband have been trying hard to make a baby but im afraid it didnt happen this month
