How come we can't discuss Christianity here without a fight, or syntax attack? (detail)?

So what if I don't believe in God,
Why not answer my question, instead of saying
"Oh well you didn't say The Lord Jesus Christ
Instead just opting for 'Jesus' you dumb atheist."

I feel your pain.
Even I, a christian, have had the same problem but I just had to accept the fact that Yahoo Answers is a non-serious-but-can-be-serious-sometimes battleground of OPINIONS, OPINIONS and more OPINIONS.
It's actually hilarious once you get the hang of it.

Being an atheist doesn't make you dumb, it just makes you different.
And trust me, some of my christian bretherens dont like "different"
The same way you all dont embrace religious "truths"
 
I personally don't care what they think or feel when it comes to typing out the names:
jesus, god, holy spook or whatever.

They can either get over it or cry about it.
Means nil to me.
 
Well basically it depends how you stated your question. But if you are an Atheist.. doesn't that mean that you don't believe in a God, which means you are not a Christian? So why would you waste your time discussing Christianity.. I don't get it. Just like you said it who cares if you don't believe in God, who cares if we believe in God
 
I can discuss Christianity, the only thing is, when I give the truth, with scriptures to back what I said, people want to argue, or become cowards and block me. I don't blame them though, if I couldn't handle the truth, I would block me too. Just email me if you really want to discuss Christianity.
