How come Verizon Wireless gets the lamest phones?

Firstly I'm just kinda making a point. I swear they get the lamest phones possible. The only good ones I can say the have is the env line and the alias 2. A phone I want would have the normal keys on front, and the qwerty slides out to the side. Almost every carrier BUT Verizon has one. Verizon is so stupid sometimes.
