of U.S. vs. China? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, EndWar, Ghost Recon, Command & Conquer: Red Alert (this one happens to be an alternate history), and Freedom Fighters (also alternate history). Most of these games take place in the near future and it features hypothetical war or conflict between Russia and United States. The only games that I can think of that features conflict or war between United States and China are Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, Fallout series (also an alternate history), and Frontlines: Fuels of War (also this game features the Russians allying the Chinese). How come there are more war-based video games that takes place in present-day or near future features a Russo-American war instead of a Sino-American war? I thought the events of Cold War is over and Russia isn't a large superpower as it was when the country was the Soviet Union. Although, Russia and United States have some foreign differences, I doubt Russia would be willing to go against United States.

By the way, if Activision ever gets back into working the Modern Warfare series, I would suggest: a) feature the Chinese allying with the Russian against America. b) create another Call of Duty series that features Chinese as the enemy of United States where the Chinese uses their military for world domination (starting with her neighbors like Japan, India, and South Korea, and later United States).

Honestly, in reality the chances of a war between China and United States is higher than a war between Russia and United States. Mainly because: 1) China and United States have larger political differences. The Chinese are authoritarian communists while United States is a democracy, 2) They have conflicting foreign policies, such as the issue on Taiwan and North Korea nuclear proliferation.

By the way, if any American media that features any war between China and United States (like the Red Dawn film remake), they will obviously depict the Chinese are villainous complete monsters. Of course, knowing the Chinese censorship, anything that depict the Chinese government and military as the bad guys will be banned immediately.
