Why do I get the impression that you have no idea what you're talking about? The vast majority of people in these nations would want nothing to do with our health care system.
 
They do show the dark side. Nothing is perfect. When you have bureaucracy, people slip through the cracks. When you have single-payer systems, some people cannot afford it.

Canada and the UK have much higher life expectancies than the US.

Overall, the US has a terrible reason and the only reason it still exists today is because of lobbying from the Health Insurance industry.

The US is the only western nation without universal health care. It isn't about politics, it's about ethics. No one should be denied health care.

Currently, Costa Rica has a higher life expectancy than the US.
 
They're not experiments any more. NHS has been around since 1948. I don't know any Brits who would choose our mess over their own system.

And the systems are neither nightmarish nor systematic failures. Do you work for an insurance company? How much are they paying you to fight against the interests of your country?
