wrist for murder? I just got through watching the brand new episode of "Snapped." And in this episode a woman mortally wounded her husband, when she shot him in the chest. She claimed the reason she shot him was because he was physically abusing her, and was about to rape her, so she killed him. Despite her claims there was absolutely NO evidence to back them up, It was just her word! Furthermore, the victim's kids, and family members said she was the one who always abused the husband, and that he never fought back against her. And the kids and family members of the victim believed she killed him cause she wanted out of the marriage, but didn't want to go through a long messy divorce. Despite all this evidence against her claims of self defense, as a battered woman. She was found guilty of only voluntary manslaughter, and sentenced to a mere 5-10 years in prison, for killing a man in cold blood. It's sad that in America, ANY woman can kill a man in cold blood, and just allege that he had abused her, with absolutely NO evidence to back up her claim, and she can get away scott free with murder, or only have to serve a maximum of 10 years in prison. Could you imagine if a guy tried the same thing? If a man claimed that he killed a woman in self defense, cause she was abusive to him, with no evidence to support his claims, he would be laughed at, convicted of 1st degree murder, and sentenced to life in prison, or death penalty. The justice system clearly favors women, and I have lost all faith in justice system.
