i have a few of those little ponds , i had about 3 koi , and 5 or6 regular gold fish in each one. the ponds always freeze over "ohio" but they all dont die , only about half of each. is lack of oxygen or what?
how do i get rid of that smell, out of 4 ponds , when i broke the ice, 2 of them stunk really bad, that could be why, what can i do about that, before winter?
i agree its the ammonia. how do i manage it?
