How come restaurants can't stay open 24 hours?

I hear ya! but in all seriousness: they have to pay people to work the shifts...and if by any chance....someone does come in for a 3am feed, they wouldn't make enough profit out of that ONE meal.
Also alot of the night life people (meaning the low life's) harass shops that are open 24 hours. Can you imagine a bunch of drunk / stoned people going down to the shop for candy and starting fights.
My friend works in 24 hour deli....and the stories he tells....it's not good :/

But still would LOVE it if alot of shops were 24 hours :D
 
Many people are still up and want to eat something.

I wanted KFC chicken at 11 pm, and it was closed...
Then Jack in the Box, Drive thru only open, sigh...
I wanted to go in and sit down and eat.

Sigh... I hate that.
well hire some people who will work at night.
well I got coupons.
 
because they would loose more money than they would take in if they stayed open that late
