How come people complain more about this PG era than the 80's-early 90's PG era?

In the 80's there were even more big men put into the main event that couldn't wrestle, even more sh*tty storylines, and even more cartoonish characters, Yet, I really haven't heard people talk crap about it. No one talks about how crappy Hulk Hogan is, it's always about John Cena. No one complains about the Undertaker vs. Undertaker storyline, it's all about the Undertaker in a vegetative state storyline. No one talks about the worst gimmick in WWF/E history, the Red Rooster, everyone complains about Hornswoggle. What's up with that?
