I've sent a few then I ask the person if they got a request and they said no.
 
ask them to check their Spam.

for some reason, lots of people have been having a problem where they send a request and it's sent to their friend's Spam section; this may be true in your situation too.
 
That's weird. Mobile Myspace is always messing up on my phone.
Like, when I go to accept friend requests, it says that there is like 26, when in reality, I only have 2.

Sorry. I couldn't help you. I think it's the system though.
