The reason your friends don't know who Rammstein are is probably because, as is the seeming opposite of people here, they have a goal in life;

NOT LISTENING TO FUCKING GERMAN NU-METAL.

The band sucks, you suck, and if your friends liked the music after you forced their ears through something as bad as that, it's probably because they're ignorant and mentally disabled (i.e. retarded).
 
First thing: RammStein doesn't fit too well as Nu-metal
Nu-Metal would more be bands like - Korn
Slipknot
System of A Down
and other similar bands
Second thing: Calling someone retarded is about the worst way to make any sort of point so don't bother with that.

But I wasn't saying nu-metal is bad, since there are a few bands that appeal to me in that genre. I was just saying that Rammstein sucks. A lot.
 
Yup, those are the only ones I can think of (that I enjoy); KoRn (but they're starting to drift away from their previous fanbase because their new stuff is becoming "normal") and System. Actually, in my opinion SOAD are some of the most talented musicians alive.

But Rammstein sucks.
 
they had a tune in the soundtrack for one of the mortal kombat movies.... as well as a few on lost highway which is where i first heard of em...

pretty decent group... my boss is obsessed w/em
 
The jam on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack was badass.


I'm not sure if it was annihilation or the first soundtrack, but whichever it was played very well during Parasite Eve.
 
rammstien does not suck. and its not nu-metal it is more hard rock :gun:

You're right, but that wasn't the first popular movie it was in.

Not really, you're just confused as to what Death Metal is. Furthermore, all death metal is heavy.
That's just your opinion.

Learn to read the thread, that's already been said. Also, Du Hast wasn't in that movie.
