how come my tv still has static?

i have 2 tv's. 1 tv is good on all channels except channel 4 and channel 11 but the other tv channel 5 has a bit of static, channel 7 and 9 are ok but 11 dont work at all and has no sound? they share the same cable..
 
by saying they share the same cable, I assume you have cable tv and are paying for it. If so, call he cable company with this issue. we had something like this way back when and the cable from the pole to the house needed replacing and updating.
 
Did this happen yesterday or today? They shut off analog service yesterday if you've been living in a cave for the past 2 years. Perhaps you don't have a digital signal coming from your cable. If you've piped in from a neighbor's signal, that might be the problem. If you're actually paying for the cable, call your provider and give them a "WTF?"

If this didn't start just yesterday, then the TV may be on its way out or you've got a frayed coax cable somewhere in the house that may gotten bumped loose or bent at an extreme angle which can drastically reduce picture quality.
