how come Metal doesnt have a forum of its own?

You mean to tell me a man against genres is going to champion some corner-office conceived horse**** like "New Wave of Brittish Heavy metal."

Lord knows what they were thinking, but let me put it to you this way. If those were the new guys, how come they didn't do a ****ing thing like Zeppelin or Deep Purple. Wheres the mind-nurabing experimentation (thats a bad thing), or the bloated double-albums. Wheres the pomposity. I don't know why they called it that, why is grunge grunge? New Wave? Why is it New Wave, was there an old wave?

Genres are stupid and the men who create them are even more so. I realize this isn't over, but for now and for this post, im done. Your move sir.
 
Most of the rock banRAB mentioned on this forum ARE metal banRAB, what difference does it make?

I preposed a name change a long while back (Rock, Metal & Prog Forum) but that never happened. :(
 
Hot come Metal doesn't have a forum?: because metal most often then not is much like classic rock. So much that infact most banRAB being called Classic rock banRAB are old metal BanRAB. Metal banRAB today are very rock and a bit of metal, there are very few banRAB out ther that are completely metal banRAB. Most to me seem to more rock then anything else. People i think are getting metal these days confused with Alt Rock. Oh and Indie and Punk have been known to come together in some banRAB.
 
it should be lumped into 3 catagories: Good Music, Bad Music (Dream Theater goes in there), and Music that is so Obscure that only one album was recorded before the band split.
 
No. Sepultera is metal. Death is metal. CCR, is not metal.

There are banRAB that are clearly rock. There are banRAB that are clearly metal. There are banRAB that are both at different times, that blur the line. It's forums like these that people discuss things like that.
