How come I cannot get spark off my ignition coil on my 1982 ford bronco? ?

first of all you have to get it to turn over to get spark from your coil. after you get it so the engine will turn over then use a test light and hold it against the X terminal of the coil while someone cranks the engine to see if juice is getting to the coil.

Remove the distributor cap again and make sure that the rotor was tightened correctly, it may have seemed tight enough when you fastened everything down, but when driving the vibration of the engine caused things to settle. This happened to me on my Olds, when i tightened the screws on the rotor it seemed tight, but a day or two later it just quit. When i removed the cap, the rotor had come loose, and basically reamed out the inside of the distributor cap thus breaking all the connections with the ignition. replaced them and all was good. I would also double check the connections of the sparkplug wires to the cap....make sure they click when you push them down.

I have replaced the distrubitor cap and rotor and she ran fine, but then the next day i went to start it, she would not turn over. Any suggestions.
