how come bluetooth isnt working on my laptop windows 7?

hi pplease help me get a connect my bluetooth headset to my windows 7 laptop. i have been going to bluetooth settings and i click new connection and it pops up saying bluetooth is not ready soo then i go to my bluetooth options and it says to enable my blutooth and whn i click enable it makes me plug in my bluetooth headset... so i plug my head set in and keep it in pairing mode but it doesnt let me enable bluetooth please help me out i beg of u!

try re-installing the bluetooth driver which is contained under C drive >swsetup >drivers. It may help
