How come big market sports teams have more money the small market teams?

Is this a serious question? A smaller market is going to have a less lucrative economy ergo there are going to be less people who can afford to plop down big bucks for tickets, so in order to fill seats the tickets have to be priced accordingly. Economics 101 would be sufficient to figure this one out.

ok sorry but this a stupid question because big market teams are in cities with larger population so more people so up to the games and the can also advertise to bigger population

Big cities and more successful cities=more money.
Thats life unfortunately

1 larger fan base = larger pool of ticket buyers
2 larger market = more corporate sponsorship opportunities
3 larger market = more lucrative local broadcasting (pre-season)
