Some of the laws in the Bible aren't very just.
Take for instance a guy rapes a girl and he has to pay her father 50 sheckels. I think a penny over 30 shekels is robbery.
Then you have the unjust laws for slavery where if a master knocks out a slaves tooth, or gouges out an eye they are to go free. Come on now, I could see maybe both eyes, or all of their teeth, but 1 measly tooth and they get to go free. After all they are your property.
Also there is the unjust law regarding stoning to death. People had to work long and hard back then and at the end of the day they were beat and just wanted to put their feet up. Then some young drunkard teenager goes and talks back to his parents and all the sudden those poor hard working people have to go and labor picking up heavy rocks, so they could hurl them at the person until they are dead. Some people don't go down easy either and it can be a lot of work. Where's the justice in these unfair laws?
