I did NOT do this intentionally.
I was giving my horse his monthly Adequan injection and as I was injecting tonight someone threw a blanket down from the loft to the aisle and scared my horse. He threw his head a little, so I quickly finished the injection. I did not get a chance to pull back to check if I hit blood since he started moving so fast (Yes my friend was holding him, but he still managed to move enough for me to hurry).
Now me being the paranoid person I am, how can I tell if I injected into a vein? He did not bleed. He was acting normal an hour later after I left, eating/drinking/peeing/pooping. I would prefer not to call my Vet tonight due to the holidays, I figured I would ask here first for something that may be extremely minor!
