How can you stop JW's from leaving pamphlets in your mailbox or door?

At least once a month, I find one of their insane pamphlets jammed into my mailbox or closed in my front door. They leave no way to contact them, unless you want them to "arrange for home bible study".
I have asked them to stay away and I rarely have them knock on my door, I just suffer these sneak attacks, "drop and run".
 
Leaving pamphlets in the mailbox is actually a Federal offense in the US, as the pamphlets have not been mailed. Contact your local post office.

Signs are good, ranging from "No Trespassing," (allows you to call the police and have them arrested), "No Solicitation," and my favorite, "I'm off to buy ammo for the shotgun. My vicious dog Killer has a toothache this morning and is not feeling very friendly and the Missus has a nasty case of PMS."
 
JW's live in the next house to me. They are always putting stuff in my mailbox. I don't mind as most of it is quite interesting.
 
It's illegal for them to put anything in your mailbox; set up a camera, catch them and then report them. It really is the only way they'll learn.
 
Drop the pamphlets in the trash with the junk mail you are going to get anyway.

("...insane, jammed, suffer, sneak attack, drop and run...."

If this is your biggest problem, consider yourself really and truly blessed.
 
It is illegal to put anything in the mailbox. However it is not illegal to attach something to the mailbox or to the door......Simply just throw the stuff away if you dont want it........>

Dont get too wound up over it, just consider it junk mail and toss it..........>
 
Nothing, really, short of threatening to rape them which has its own legal implications. I used to tear their literature up into a few pieces and then leave it exactly where they left it, so they're aware of the local sentiment on their pollution.
