The State of Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions instead of a court has ordered a Subpoena of bank records in order to conduct an investigatioon. I am a innocent 3rd party. can the Subpoena be stopped?
In some States certain regulatory agencies have subpoena powers in their own right. If the agency has the authority to issue a subpoena then it's valid, and the only way to stop it is to go to court and get a court to quash it.
