How can you print in black and white from an apple computer to a kyocera printer?

The computer is Mac OS X version 10.6.6 and the printer is Kyocera FS-C1020 MFP. The black cartridge is new, but the yellow, magenta and cyan cartridges have no ink.
Please note: This is an APPLE computer and NOT a WINDOWS computer.
