How can you make it in the acting business as a teen?

So I'm 15 and I want to be an actress :] How can I work in movies, even as an extra? what will i need (training, etc.)? Is there somewhere I sign up, an agency or something in southeast michigan?

It just doesn't happen like that. You need training, commitment and if you are serious, you should have flexible schedule. But get training first. Alot
 
you need 2 look... always look for oppertunities and ALWAYS be taking classes and any other training.

get a membership to backstage.com its the most reliable audition network out there probably
 
you need to get all the experience you can. take acting classes, do
school plays,drama classes if they are available, local theater and any open calls there are in your area. develop any talents you have and
get new ones if you can. this will require a tremendous amount of
time and effort from you and a parent as you can't do this on your own
as a minor. unfortunately this is not a career you can per sue from
just anywhere. if you want this seriously you will have to go to where all the jobs and interviews are which is Los Angeles, there is just no
acting work in michigan
