W wld_jkr New member Jul 4, 2009 #2 Use a snake. It's a stiff piece of metal that comes on a coil - much like a tape measure, only stiffer. Electricians use them to pull wires through conduit. You could probably rent one somewhere.

E Ed M New member Jul 4, 2009 #3 Why not just use an outdoor cord to start with? For that run it would need to be at least 12/3 to power more than a fan at the dock end.

B Booty New member Jul 4, 2009 #4 Pick up a roll of mechanics wire. Run the mechanics wire through the hose then wrap it around the electric cord then pull the whole thing back through to the other end.
