How can you draw manga on adobe photoshop?

i can scan my picture, but i really dont understand how to make the lines thicker, and i have seen other manga style drawings made on adobe photoshop, not even scanned. Do you know of any tutorials, or anything to help me out? When i color my pictures, the lines fade..... I use adobe photoshop elements if that helps.

Yeah, sure you can!
...elements isn't too good in my opinion, but it could be, depending what version it is because Premium is just gay, sry if you use Premium,lol

When you try to make the lines thicker, try to choose a thicker brush? the size and shape. Also, you can choose the size. It should be on the top left hand corner...drag the pointer thingy towards the right side?
