I have a friend who popped on a drug test and then went UA for a few weeks until he got taken away by the MP. I have no idea how long he will be there and I dont know how much restriction he is on, whether he can have visitors, if he can get letters (and how I would know where to send it if he could), or how i could contact him by phone. I would love a detailed answer. thanks guys!

i'm sure contacting the people at camp pendleton would be a good start, seeing as they know his situation best, and i'm sure you're entitled to some information if he is a spouse or relative.

(P.S. if you're just friends, and they won't help you for that reason, get one of his relatives to help)

Prisoners are allowed to receive letter mail. Packages are at the discretion of the Corps. Ask first. Address mail as follows:

Rank, Last, First, MI
Security BN, Brig Company
Box 555051
Camp Pendleton, CA 92055
