how can you bring back up facebook chat box messages when the other person

you were chatting w/ is offline? my boyfriend was chatting with alot of girls on facebook and he tries to hide the msges by only chatting on the chat box thing on facebook but the chat boxes are still on his pg. and i want 2 see what they were talking about but since the ppl he was talking to is offline..it says so and so is offline.. how can i bring their messages back up please please help 10 points BEST ANSWER
 
when your boyfriend is done talking to these girls he can clear the messages they sent back and forth. if the messages aren't there it means that he cleared the history. so you cant see the messages anymore. sorry hope this helps
