How can you be sure to feed 2 fish evenly?

Its really easy all you have to do is drop in some flakes and they will eat. Both fish will eat about the same. Maybe one might get a couple more flakes but that's hardly anything you have to worry about. You should be more concerned about fish tank cycling and making sure your Ammonia,Nitrite and Nitrate levels are under control.
 
I'm getting two fish tomorrow, but I don't want to accidentally over feed one of them. They don't eat much, one or two flakes, but if they eat more than that for too long they'll die. Any ideas of how I can make sure one fish doesn't eat too much? Thanks for your help!
