How can you arrange everything to have 3 degrees in 4 years of college?

You can either take extra classes each semester and lots of summer classes (endangering your GPA by taking on too much and you won't be able to take a job or internship over the summer, so you'd be screwing yourself over if you want to go to graduate or professional school after college) or you can pick three majors that overlap so much that just a few more classes will get you another major. However, to get three actual degrees, you'd have to complete all the of the credit requirements three times, not just major requirements.

And I have to tell you, that would be a huge waste of time. After you get a bachelors, no one cares if you have an associates or how many you have. Just take a few classes in other topics you're interested in. There's no reason to get another full degree.

One of my professors said that there was a student of his who graduated with a Bachelor's degree, and 2 Associates degree all in 4 years. So I'm assuming the first 2 years that student earned one Associates degree and after-wards earned another Associates degree the next 2 years. And altogether they accumulated a Bachelor's degree. How can you arrange classes and credits together to where you can do that? Is that only possible with certain majors & minor's? Thanks in advance!
