how can u tell if my fish is a pacu or a piranha?

i have a fish. i think its a red bellied piranha while my friend thinks its a red belly pacu. can some1 list the differences between the two so i can compare them?
 
Piranhas reach only about a foot in size. Red belly pacus grow way larger. Also the jaw on the piranha sticks out more than a pacu.
