How can U Tell an N95 is real.

just like those who spot fake dollars, they train to handle original dollars, so that no matter what kind of fake dollars they come to contact with, they will knew immediately which one is fake... get hold of the the real one, then you will know the fake....

besides, have you really seen a working fake N95, that looks and does the same as the N95???

Nokia flagship store Chicago sells them for MSRP... $749 + tax with free shipping. Other reputable online sellers are now dropping their prices. I believe justtalk is selling below MSRP.

Most sellers put real pics, so no way in telling from the pics.

The best and only tip is to buy from reputable buyers and if you buy on ebay same thing, be sure to buy from people with lot's of sold item 1000+
with good recommendation.

Oh rich ... real rich. I thought this forum was to educate people ... and if possible have the knowledgeable could pass on their pearls of widsom to the uninitiated. Guess I was wrong!

Cheers.

It still is...take it easy Rambo okay! If you really want to know whether it's a fake, post a pic here in this thread and we'll be sure to help you out.

For example, this is a REAL Nokia N73:

......and this is a FAKE

I had a good laugh at this.

You have to be like a 4 year old mentally retarded child not to notice a fake Nokia N95.

I mean, the question is, "How can you not tell a fake and real N95 apart"

I am saying that Nokia would not know or have involvement. These fabs have very few controls by the parent company and shady management would take these phones to the gray market.

With that said, Nokia may not be one of these companies with this problem, but I work in license management. You would be surprised how many companies are affected by these kinds of problems. Gray market is more than just items that fell of the truck.

There was this website that I forgot but I'm sure you guys would know, when you would enter your IMEI, it would tell you where the phone is made for, and what brand and model the phone is.

Or you can just exhibit some common sense. These knockoffs aren't exact duplicates and can only be mistaken by people that don't do their research or who quite frankly are idiots. It's not hard to tell....it's not like a Rolex where it requires a Jeweler to authenticate it's legitimacy.

I was just using Nokir as an example. BT headsets are tougher to determine if you don't pay attention but phone knock offs are easier to tell regardless of who manufactures it. BTW....I would support knock offs if they would make an 8910i knock off with 850mhz

i kinda knew this wud happen sometime or later and it did...check out the "fake" N95
