How can the Ramayana be compared to the history of the Aryans?

I have read the book, and did research on the aryans, my opnion is that the ramana's rama is a represetation of the aryans in north india(lighter skinned people) and the evil demons etc, like ravana are examples of dravidian people in south india who were considered inferior.
