How can the doctor check to see if your preggo if negative preggo test?

Like im like almost 2 months late and i took so 7 urine tests and 1 blood test and all came out negative. and i always have normal periods. so the doctors like "well come back in 2 weeks if your period still hasn't come and we'll do another test because your HCG probably isn't at a high level or something.
But my question is what if it still says negative and no period. and say i would have to get checked by a doctor, how would he/she do that??? feel my stomach?? ultra sound??? what. ??
 
If you don't have HCG showing up by that point then you aren't pregnant and most likely you have something else going on. I have PCOS and it causes me to have late periods and everything. If you aren't far enough along to register on a blood test then an ultrasound wouldn't tell them anything either nor would feeling your uterus. If you have a blood test 2 wks after the last time you had sex and it is negative you arent pregnant it is something else.

If a pregnancy is not showing up in a blood test then most likely you are not pregnant. The other ways to find out would be a ultrasound. You could just be missing your period because of stress.
