...riders with its gn250? I brought the gn 250 to get my bike license on after previously owning two hondas (a cb200 and a cb400) I needed the smaller engine size to get my license on. Also a lot of new riders buy the gn. My Hondas never gave me any trouble. If I had known suzuki made inferior bikes I would have gotten a second hand Honda.
I didn't know it was made in china with inferior parts that would need replacing withing a couple of years. All of them. So the bike would need an entire rebuild withing two or three years after buying brand new. Also the chroming is so thin it rusted within six months.
So suzuki basically rips off new riders and people buying brand new bikes. They take advantage of people's ignorance about these inferior bikes and make money off them by ripping them off.
I bet lots of new riders gave up riding after starting out on a gn just because of the cost.
How can they do this to fellow bikers and still pretend they have some kind of integrity or eithics as bike manufacturers?
I meant ethics :]
well i have taken care of this one. I get her serviced on time and maintain her and keep her under a carport.
Frankly my hondas could have survived armageddon but this one can barely survive existing.
also every single mechanic who has worked on my bike has known this about gn's as well as most people who work around bikes or in bike shops. Its pretty much generally known.
