How can sony encourage more PS3 users to by headsets?

/with more games popping up with online multiplayer modes how can sony encourage more people to buy headsets. A complaint ( not sure if it's major or minor) is that not enough people on PSN are using headsets, usually then after that part of the statement something like " everyone on XBL pretty much uses it".. yea yea most xbox come with headsets.

This seems to be true because when ever I play on my friends ps3 I never hear people online or even in videos of online gameplay I never hear any one. Especially with games like MAG coming out headsets are pretty much a MUST have.

just looking for your ideas.
 
Don't get me wrong, the Playstation 3 IS expensive to make, but Sony seems really picky about accessories that come with it.
The Xbox 360 bring Hd component cables, a mic, and an Ethernet cord.
Sony should just package the PS3 with a mic at least
 
I don't know why they don't give you a normal headset like the 360 does. They do try and package the bluetooth with some games. You could look at this as an advantage. If you have ever played Halo3, all you hear are prepubescent voices saying how bad you are at the game, what they will do to your sister or something racist. But yea, just put in some cheap headset.
 
For me i got the headset just for killzone 2
maybe if they put a headset with some games or put it with the ps3
