How can some christians argue this....?

How can you explain that a prayer that you believe in Christ is all you need to enter Heaven....when in John Chapter3:5 it says...
"Jesus answered , Verily , verily , I say unto thee , Expect a man be born of water and of the spirit , he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
Why do you think that baptism doesn't matter to you? I have been baptized by full submersion , like Christ taught. What are your thoughts?

There is a reason we do baptisms for the dead!
 
why argue i am not into that. yu believe what yu want i will believe how i want to believe. i do believe in baptism and i do believe in God therefore i am catholic and i am happy with wht i believe if you are then that isgood we are all aiming to head the same way heaven and with God so that is it just be happy and glad.

I understand this verse as when you die you will be born again much how we are baptize with water and spirit. It doesn't mean to me that I have to be baptize either.

He clearly says "EXpect a man be born of water and of spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God"

It says be born again of water and spirit. It doesn't say you must be soak in water and be baptize, no. It is a parable meaning all that we are going to heaven will be like baptize again in the spirit world.
 
The thief on the cross was never baptized, was he? Jesus Christ is the living water of which we must be born. We are saved by grace through faith that Jesus is who He said He is. God bless.
