My brother has decided to return to college after being out for five years. Working only part-time at a grocery store, he can use some help financially, but having already obtained his BA (which has been useless to him), he's ineligible for a Pell Grant. He wants to avoid loans, and the scholarship offered by his place of employment won't offer them again until a year from now. Are there any relatively quick and not-too-hard-to-get types of assistance for a returning college student with a meager income? He would be happy with just a few hundred bucks to get started. I myself can cover only so much. Any help would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated.
