How Can People Say That They Are Not Anti-Gay When They Don't Support Their Lifestyle?

I know of some folks who say that they have nothing against gays and that they are friends with them and so-and-so.. but then they say that they do not support what they do.

I was thinking how can you claim to not be against homosexuals and then go to say that you don't support their same-sex way of life.

I just don't get this... do you?
 
its a total contradiction maybe they dint hate gays they just dint want them to mary i think south park did a episode on this
 
Yes I do get it.

Just because I don't like country music doesn't mean I can't be friends with people who do like country music, now does it?
 
I dont have any thing negative to say about someone who is gay
period, there just like you and me they have feeling I have people in my family thats gay so I do support them my best friend is a gay man.
 
...I don't support illegal aliens either but I'm not anti Mexican ! (B.T.W. "they" are not "gay"... They are homosexuals (and) if "they" would all move to San Fran'sicko' just think how much better things would be for everyone else !)
 
This is simple. When one is neither for nor against something, they are indifferent.
