how can my psp read ISO and CSO games from my laptop?

i bought PSP slim last night.. when i connect the PSP to the Laptop,, i cant find any ISO folder, so i create one. when i copy the game's ( ISO and CSO ) from Laptop to the "ISO" folder, the psp cant recognize the file i transferred.. what should i do??

Sony PSP slim
System software : version 6.31

i read some forums about that "FIRMWARES",, but i dont know what to do..?
