How can my groom wear boots for our wedding?

Since we are only having 10 people at our ceremony, I wanted my fiance to be comfortable. He hates wearing long sleeves and dress shoes. Since I am dressing up and wearing something nice I wanted him in a suit, not a tux, but something that compliments my dress.

So anyway, what suit cut/suit ideas will look ok with timberland boots/dress boots?

I'm looking for serious answers, I don't care about "traditional" dress.
 
I think any suit would look fine with the boots, but it depends on the color of the boots. Don't have him were a black suit if the boots are brown.
 
Forget the tim's please but dress boots can look very nice. My hubby wore them when we married and mostly no one knew the difference.

It is only one day and just a few hours of that day. If he can't get dressed for you for that short period how is he gonna get through the difficulties, compromises and sacrifices that make up any marriage. Timberland boots are for the job or the woods not a wedding.
 
Well he could wear the boots, dress pants, a dress shirt, and a tie... skip the jacket. That should be comfortable enough, and he wouldn't be out of place next to you in your dress... besides, then he has a little flexibility if the boots are light brown. (I HOPE they are dark brown, in which case he could wear dark brown dress pants) If they ARE light brown then he could at least pull them in with the outfit with a matching tie or something.
If you can wear heels - he can wear a tie. It shouldn't be that uncomfortable.
 
As long as the colors match it should be ok. Don't put him in the tan/brown carhartt boots if his suit is black. (You know what I mean...lol.) My fiance and all the guys are going to be in black tuxes with black dress boots. Not one of the guys like the rental shoes that come with tuxes, and I'm cool with the boots as long as they're new and match.
 
ok lady the answer is u jujst dont wear boots!! ok he is already wearin a suit insted of a tux so tell him if he rele loves u he dont need the boots!! :)
