How can my bike all of a sudden lose controle/balance?

though it has never happened to me. i worry that ill just be inocently riding around 60 mph on the highway and then my bike looses balance and/or controle.
anything close was wind blowing 25-30 mph.
usual 07 gs500F
it doesnt worry me enouph to not ride.
i ride the bike like a first and only vehicle.
 
How? what do you want guesses?

A flat tire is a real thrill, I had 2 on one bike both times on the highway. Bike squirrels all over the place.

A bent tire rim does wonders also.
Dropping the axle bolts on the U clamp on either side of your front tire will do it.
Having a real dumb passenger stand up behind you will throw your balance.
Reaching for a beer from the brew wagon can cause balance issues, and bladder issues.
Pot holes are what they are. A real pain.
Witches on broomsticks and crap flying off of trucks and cars that hit you.

All these things cause control / balance problems.
