It says on the manual
"The FM radio depends on an antenna other than the
wireless device antenna. A compatible headset or
enhancement needs to be attached to the device for the
FM radio to function properly."
Someone enlighten me with this one. It said that a compatible headset must be attached. Does that mean that the copper wires in the headset is used as an alternate antenna? or does the headset itself has a seperate antenna attached? I never saw the headset of Nokia 5310 XM before because my friend gave it to me without the headset..
If the radio waves are passed to the copper wires inside the headset, can I use a normal mp3 player headset? Would it work? The Nokia 5310 XM has 3.5mm jack.
