how can i un-jailbreak an ipod touch. 4g or version 4.0?

i recently bought this ipod and went ahead and jailbroke it but now i realized the ipod was having problems. when i try creating an apple id on the ipod itself it goes to a page were it says session timed out and when i sign in with an id it doesnt let me download any apps
also ive tried restoring the ipod but it says it cannot restore and it shows the code 3194 .. what can i do ?
