How can i turn my business idea into reality?

I've had this business idea for a little over 2 years now, but really don't know how to go about getting there! its really annoying me!

It's an online based business directory for a niche market but don't know how to create it, market it etc.. I've played around with some web building software like joomla and wordpress but I dont really know how to get it like i want exactly.

Basically i am just asking for mentoring, and not too sure where i can this service from. I am only 19 btw and from the UK.

you may want to patent or copyright the idea first. And then go to elance or guru.com where you can outsource the work if you don't have the technical skills to pull it off.
