Hello.
I own a Canon Powershot SD1200 IS Digital Elph camera that I was given as a gift for my birthday. I have been playing around with it and taking some really nice pictures using the regular photo-taking and "Program" modes on the camera, however, the images come out unacceptably grainy.
I tried using the "portrait" setting instead and to my delight found that it was much more crisp and clear than "program", however, half of the pictures I have taken so far are narcissistic shots of myself and I hate being blinded by flash as I am taking pictures.
Is there any way to turn it off? The manual in the box only covers the basics of getting started and not more advanced details like the different settings/modes and how to turn flash on/off.
Thank you
