Hello,
I own a tank in my room that houses seven fish. I recently just lost a koi from a open wound infection on his gill.
Recently one of my littlest koi developed a nasty wound on his mouth. I believe he injured himself when he picked up a pebble that got stuck in his mouth. I rubbed some fish medicine (given to me by his breeder) on the side of his mouth.
The wound is getting worse now. I can clearly see his whole mouth is red, and the wound is now causing this flesh around it to come off in layers. He is swimming alright but looks absolutely terrible. What can I do to treat him quickly?
He also developed another small wound on his fin overnight.
I am aware fish will fight, but I haven't caught any of them doing it. Could it be bugs?
