How can i transfer individual iTunes songs onto a flash drive?

pull up two windows: one for your flashdrive and one for itunes. then just drag the individual songs from your playlist onto the flashdrive screen.this is what works for me. hope it helps :)
 
I'm trying to transfer some songs from iTunes onto my flash drive so my friend can import the songs into her iTunes library, but I can't figure out how to do that. I tried to Google it but it only gave me directions on how to transfer my whole library, not just a select few songs. Help!
