how can i tell which row of radiator i need to buy. 1969 ford mustang?

a stick got caught between the fan and radiator ending with about 5 rolls busting. i need to know what row is closest to the fan so i can replace it. thanks its an automatic v-8 289 eldenbrock performer 4 barrel carb with spacer between the carb and engine i dont know if the extra info will help.
