1999 Automatic 4 cylinder. The VIN is 1J4FY29P4XP447702, the transfer case is a NV231J and the only thing I saw on the transmission was that the bell housing had 361-1 on it.
I heard a tick in the motor, it died, so I pulled it. The 5.7 Hemi I am looking to drop in, won't play well with the stock tranny. I want to know what the best tranny would be for me and my 5.7 Hemi. I will only trail ride once every couple years. I will mostly drive long distances.
