these are some characteristics/things my boyfriend does etc:
-he asked if i was a virgin
-we talk for hours and hours
-we have a big connection
-we trust each other
-he cares about my needs/feelings
-he doesn't force me to do anything
-he often comments on my body (positively)
-he likes to "show me off
phil- i'm not "giving" anybody anything until i want to
 
From what you've said, it sounds like he does actually like you and is interested in you. He probably does want sex, he is a guy, but it sounds like he cares about you before the sex part :)
 
Well you guy sounds pretty decent but I have a theory..

Guys are guys. Some are tall, some are short. Some are charming, some are delightfully dangerous. Some are ew and some are just yum!
But they're all still males.
And Males think like this
"Sex. I want sex. How can I get sex? If I am nice will I get sex? If I buy her things will I get sex? If I pretend to care will I get sex? I want sex so I will do whatever it takes to get it.

When they look into the future they don't see marriage children and a warm home... They see SEX. Sex, in big, bold capitals letters screaming out at them. SEX SEX SEX. Sex.
 
Well you had better do something for the poor bloke . He's probably busting at the seems Got to give it up one day ,may as well be with someone you like.
