I brought a second hand xbox 360 and took the faceplate off to change it today, and it looks like my xbox has been opened up in the past. The microsoft sticker has been removed etc.
On closer inspection, around the back of the xbox there is definatley some damage suggesting it has been opened up. And when the drive opens, it sometimes sticks.
Being a noob to the world of xbox360 id just like a few things clearing up.
(1)Does it sound like my xbox drive has been flashed?
(2)I tried to play a friends back up disk but it didnt work, will certain types of flashed drives only play certain types of back ups?
(3) Is there a way to find out which type of flash was performed on my xbox?
(4) if my xbox has not been flashed, what other things could have happened with the described types of damage.
Note. i do not intend to break copyright laws, i wish to back up my store bought games and play the backed up copies to keep the origionals in good condition.
